In Brasilien hat es wieder einen schweren Absturz gewesen, vermutlich 155 Tote. Der Legacy 600 konnte notlanden, bei der 737-800 soll es sich um die wenige Wochen alte PR-GTD handeln.

GOL Flight 1907 departed Manaus (MAO) at 15:35 on a scheduled flight to Brasilia (BSB) and Rio de Janeiro (GIG). It was expected to arrive at Brasilia at 18:12. Contact with the flight was lost at 16:48 in the area of São Félix do Xingu. Authorities believe that the flight may have collided with an Embraer Legacy 600 executive jet (N600XL). The Embraer was reported to have made a safe emergency landing at Cachimbo AB, PA.
