Das Wetter war für den 23. Juli nicht gut vorhergesagt. Da mit Gewittern zu rechnen war, wollten wir nicht auf das ziemlich freie Gelände des Wittman Regional Airport. Stattdessen fuhren wir den Sunny Spells hinterher. In Font du Lac taten sich einige großen Wolkenlücke auf. Zuerst machten wir den befestigten Teil des dortigen Vorfeldes unsicher.

Selbst hier verschlug es einige Warbirds hin, meist um von hier kurze Rundflüge mit gut betuchten Flugwilligen zu machen.
